Vocabulary Game

New Times

Hi everybody,

As you can see, things are changing little by little in this blog. Yes, I know, it’s totally in English, but, do you remember? this was born to be  your English class outside the classroom.

I want you to notice something special. If you take a look at the side bar, you can see two Blogrolls. One of them can became a very useful tool and a funny and easy way to practise English. It’s Chiew Pang’s Blog called  “a cLiL to cLiMB”.

As many of you already know, Chiew is the language assistant that comes on Thursdays to help us with some of the conversation classes. Well, in this blog, he offers lots of  games to practise and this takes a lot of his time and  I would like you to do  something for him:

Every time you enter the blog and play one of the games in the computer lab, or as homework , please state your scores in the comments section.  Please remember to give some information to identify you. Your first name, the name of the school, the class, and the teacher’s name are all useful identifiers; e.g. Pedro/3ºA/Tarahales/Gracia. (excerpt adapted from Chiew’s Blog)

If you leave any comment, do it in English, please. Thanks in advance and enjoy yourself!

This is a brief and easy review on the tenses you normally use in your writing tasks.I have also included some exercises (with Key) on each topic. You can download and print them to practise.

There is also a chart with adverbs and adverbial phrases for you to use them too.

Any doubt? Just ask.
